Editorial independence
Editorial conclusions, review scores and recommendations are determined by the editorial team. Brands, retailers, advertisers and commercial partners do not receive approval rights over our conclusions.
Accuracy and sourcing
We distinguish confirmed facts from opinion. Product specifications should be checked against reliable first-party or otherwise credible sources whenever possible. When material information changes, we update the relevant story or knowledge page.
Reviews and samples
Review samples may be purchased by us, supplied by a retailer, supplied by a brand, loaned or obtained through another disclosed source. The source of a sample does not determine the score.
Corrections
When we identify a meaningful factual error, we correct it promptly. Minor style, spelling and formatting edits may be made without a correction note when they do not change the substance of the article.
Commercial relationships
Advertising, affiliate relationships or other commercial arrangements must not alter editorial ratings. Where disclosure is required, it should be clear and placed where readers can reasonably see it.
